Magnificent Christmas present of my friend Aida: the posthumous book of Iñaki Ochoa de Olza, Himalayan sadly departed this spring and is entitled to this article.
Of all the books I have this mountain is the one I like, perhaps with "The Conquistadors of the useless" by Lionel Terray. And I like it for several things: style, straightforward, earnest and simple and yet fraught with meaning.
