Every 4 Words Sayings

URUGUAY NOT VOLIBIA

Continuing with this theme of the BPS and fictitious lists as a protest against unnecessary spending on single candidate elections.

initially I want to comment on the blog I have made every effort to not talk politics, but in this case I think (unfortunately) something I have to grind.

Today I was reading statements made by Mr. Ernesto Murro ( link) (who really seems to me a kind of work and I like him) , saying that after people behind this move "may be an organization that wants to destabilize democracy."

And frankly I find very, very wrong to argue, do not know if other people will have risen to the moved by economic issues (something that you could agree), but personally , is only a outright protest against something you do not share.

On the other hand I do not think that the thousands of people are joining more than mere "sheep" who "carried away" by the shepherds. Here
background flies (additionally) a general dissatisfaction with the fact mandatory elections (both BPS and in the national, departmental plebiscites) because when something is "right ", or something we have " for " is issued as mandatory, it becomes a " duty" and therefore not so nice.

rate in other countries only a percentage of the population and at least people who can choose, also has a nice right to "opt choose." So vote if I want and I love, and if I did not even vote.

Furthermore Mr. Murro also said
"It is the responsibility of the BPS or the Electoral Court that the elections will do so, because they are made as required by law" .

Quite right, personally I have very clear that this (single candidate elections) is not the responsibility of the BPS and its leadership, is the responsibility of the legislature.
Like the people who protest (for example) against that juvenile offenders are sent to their parents do not complain about the police, and (to a lesser extent) of the judges, complaining about the legal rules that allow this .

We can also talk about abortion or drug use, etc. Always the final complaint is to the people who generated the associated legal framework.

In case you thought I had a problem of dyslexia in the title, tell them that no, I was just commenting to Mr. Murro that:

" Uruguay not ... vo! (Called before the distraction of the interlocutor) Libya" , a place apparently is frowned complain about the government or certain measures are taken.

PD: Since the blog does not have an economic purpose, is undoubtedly based on comments from readers.
Since so many people have gone through here lately, it would be nice to have a return based on these comments.
